Crunch
Difficulty: Easy
The crunch is a simple exercise for the abdominal muscles. It is considered safer than the sit-up.

Step 1 - SetupStart with your back and feet flat on your mat with your knees bent. You can either cross your arms across your chest or put your hands on your head behind your ears. |

Step 2 - Crunch UpUse your abs to lift your shoulder blades and head off the mat. Be careful to keep your neck and head relaxed. Look up at the ceiling the whole time. |

Step 3 - Lower Down and RepeatLower yourself back down to the mat slowly and repeat. |
